Tasha is a miracle worker!! My 3 year old hates having his haircut the last time being 10 months ago. He went in crying and came out smiling with his hair cut. Tasha was so patient and spoke him through every step going at his pace and not rushing him. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Tasha was very gentle and welcoming with our autistic son and she was so accommodating to his every need and had lots of helpful aids ready to help settle him. Our son felt safe and enjoyed his experience with lots of giggles! It’s an absolute blessing to find somewhere that treats special needs as normal and not different. Thank you Tasha for the best haircut !! Xx

Absolutely amazing! We have been looking for 3 years to find a regular barber for our nonverbal 4 year old autistic son. We have crossed every one within a 10 mile radius none could help. But today this lady was amazing and we had no meltdowns, no tantrums… just smiles and and a very happy little boy This will be our regular place for the foreseeable and I recommend it to anyone with an autistic child.

After hearing great things from a friend who’d recently tried LA Jaks for the first time with her little boy, I booked for my 15 month son’s haircut. His first two haircuts so far at other salons have been drama-free as he was not phased at all. This time, due to a touch of grouchiness and confusion after being woken from a nap enroute, my little boy unexpectedly went mad.. he was pretty hysterical throughout, crying and wriggling, but Tasha did a great job and handled it perfectly. I don’t know how she does it! We’ll definitely be back again :)
