Was looking for hairdresser who knows about autism and how lots of kids with autism don’t like to have hair cuts I found this place has my son cry’s scream won’t sit still has he hates the noise of the clippers since finding this place he still crys but no we’re near as much has he has in other barbers he is much calmer she uses quieter clippers and always puts on YouTube kids on her iPad for my son and he it’s just much nicer experience also once u book that appointment is exclusively to you no one else in shop only appointment only it’s highly recommended I think for any child who dont like hair cuts and is autism friendly 💙

After hearing great things from a friend who’d recently tried LA Jaks for the first time with her little boy, I booked for my 15 month son’s haircut. His first two haircuts so far at other salons have been drama-free as he was not phased at all. This time, due to a touch of grouchiness and confusion after being woken from a nap enroute, my little boy unexpectedly went mad.. he was pretty hysterical throughout, crying and wriggling, but Tasha did a great job and handled it perfectly. I don’t know how she does it! We’ll definitely be back again :)

Tasha was lovely to my two children (under 5s). When I have taken them to other hairdressers/ barbers there are tears and tantrums, but she was very gentle with them, and they loved the Blaze chair and videos on her tablet. Thanks again, we will be recommending you to all our parent friends!

Tasha has been cutting our 2 years old sons hair for 18 months or so. We have moved out of the area but were passing by and took the opportunity to book as Tasha does such a great job with our boys hair. I didn't think it would be possible to notice at that early age but you really can! On top of that, she is very relaxed and calm which is so important with fidgety children. It is worth going out of our way to visit and I would highly recommend LA Jaks!
